┌──────┬────────────────────────────────────────────────────┬─────────────────┐
│ 02 │ What does HS-POST do.. │ HS-POST 3.3 │
└──────┴────────────────────────────────────────────────────┴─────────────────┘
With HS-POST you can post a plain ASCII file to user(s) with a specific
security level or group. HS-POST can also post a message to all users.
HS-POST can post files up to 100k. File's larger than 100k will result in a
RUNTIME-ERROR 203. So if this error appears, the file you tried to post
is too large.
┌──────┬────────────────────────────────────────────────────┬─────────────────┐
│ 03 │ Command-Line parameters of HS-POST │ HS-POST 3.3 │
└──────┴────────────────────────────────────────────────────┴─────────────────┘
<..> means this option MUST be specified.
{..} means this option is optional.
HS-POST <SecurityLevel> <BoardNumber> <File To Post> <Subject> {Use Alias}
Example: HS-POST S 10 1 C:\USER.TXT Changes A
Will post the file C:\USER.TXT as a message to all the users with
Security Level 10 in BoardNumber 1 with the subject 'Changes' using the users
handle to write the message to.(When something else then 'A' is specified
using the Alias Option, HS-POST will write the message to the users real name)
OR
HS-POST <GroupNumber> <BoardNumber> <File To Post> <Subject> {Use Alias}
Example: HS-POST G 3 1 C:\USER.TXT Changes
Will post the file C:\USER.TXT as a message to all the users with
GroupNumber 3 in BoardNumber 1 with the subject 'Changes' using the users
real name to write the message to. (When something else then 'A' is specified
using the Alias Option, HS-POST will write the message to the users real name)
OR
HS-POST EDITOR
Example: HS-POST EDITOR
Will use the internal editor to create a message
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
You can also replace the number (second parameter) by 'ALL'. HS-POST will then
post the message to all users. What is entered as the first parameter
('S' or 'G') doesn't matter when 'ALL' is used as a second parameter.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
When the internal editor is used, the message will be cut-off when HS-POST
encounters two empty lines. This is done to prevent HS-POST to post a message
of 15 lines when only two lines are written.
